Moved to Silver Spurs Ranch in May, 2003 with wife Alane.

Worked in the oil and gas industry as a geophysicist for 40 years developing software for seismic exploration. Retired from CGG, an international oil field services company, in January 2020.

Enjoys backpacking, skiing, hiking, and any excuse to get outdoors. Spends spare time researching satellite geodetics, tectonophysics, and chasing total solar eclipses. Loves to travel the globe with Alane.
